Caroline Rookes, Chief Executive for the Money Advice Service comments in response to report published today by Citizens Advice on the pension freedoms :
“There are now many more options available for people approaching retirement age. This means it is even more important for them to research the pension options available and shop around so they can make an informed decision which will ensure their pension money lasts for the full length of their retirement. The Money Advice Service website has a wealth of information about the options available at retirement. This includes a Retirement Income Options Tool , an Annuities Comparison Tool and a Retirement Adviser Directory to help people find regulated advice.”
