Money Lives: Research for the Money Advice Service
Money Lives is a new piece of pioneering research on the ways that people manage their money.
Together with our research partners, Ipsos-MORI, the Money Advice Service followed the lives of 72 families over a period of nine months to understand their attitudes and motivations towards money management and the key factors that influence their ability to make the most of their finances.
Our aspiration is to improve the money management habits of the nation. The findings from this research, together with other evidence we have gathered through our own surveys and from partners, is key to helping us all understand what we need to do, collectively, to achieve that aim. It forms a crucial part of our work to develop the Financial Capability Strategy for the UK.
