The information and tools that the Money Advice Service provides are generic and should be of general assistance to you in managing your finances. Prohibitions on your use of this website

We regard the privacy of our users as very important and any personal information which is provided to the Money Advice Service will be dealt with in accordance with our terms and conditions and privacy notice. This includes information you give us when using our telephone the Money Advice Line, face-to-face appointment service and this website including the ‘web-chat’ facility.
Any personal information you provide to us will be treated in accordance with applicable data protection law, including (when implemented) the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) (“GDPR”), any implementation of GDPR into UK domestic law and any amendments to applicable data protection law.
We will not try to sell you anything and you will not receive unsolicited telephone calls or mail from us or any third parties as a result of personal data being provided to us.
Other applicable terms
Any contractual and non-contractual obligations and other matters arising from or connected with these terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and these terms and conditions shall be construed in accordance with English law.
The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute which may arise out of or in connection with these terms and conditions.
Any provision of these website terms and conditions which is, or may be, void or unenforceable shall, to the extent of such invalidity or unenforceability, be deemed severable and shall not affect any other provision of these website terms and conditions.
